Agenda

  1. Agenda Review

Notes from   previous meeting. Please send comments, corrections to Gary.

  2. Service development
    1. Draft service agreement (Phil)
Task Force discusses first, then Coordinating Group reviews, then Phil takes to sponsors and service leadership.

      Action:
      Phil has notes, will edit.

    2. Draft of names for service, etc.(Phil)
Task Force discusses first, then Coordinating Group reviews, then follow up action TBD.
      1)      DoIT Services page

      1. What the Service is to be call called on the DoIT Service page (this is for AMP only)

        Answer: "Web Accessibility Testing Tools"

      2. What Category the service will live in - https://www.doit.wisc.edu/services/

        Answer: Web, Data & Servers

      2)      If there will be a short URL that goes directly to login.wisc.edu and then redirects back to AMP (similar to wiscmail.wisc.edu)

      1. If so, will it be a something.wisc.edu, something.doit.wisc.edu, go.wisc.edu/something, or other  (would prefer that it not be a go.wisc.edu as we discussed due to that being connected to a person)

Answer:  Deferred. Will decide as release date approaches.

      2. Note: We understand that there is a long URL for this as a short-term option, but would be good to have something that is a wisc.edu address, can easily be spoken, won’t easily become broken, and that can easily be sent in an email without it being split into two lines.

Answer: Deferred. Will decide as release date approaches.

      3)      Suite of tools

      1. What will be the name for suite of tools? (to be used on the DoIT Accessibility page, etc.) Is this “Accessibility Testing Tools"?

Answer: Web Accessibility Testing Tools. Keeping the service name and tools suite name the same is simpler, less confusing to users. When refering to the AMP tool, will call it by name. See

      2. Will there be a Subdomain URL that goes to the suite of tools (“Accessibility Testing Tools")?  If so, what will it be?

Answer: Won'tl be subdomain URL for this. Will be linked to from several places.
    .
  3. Documentation
    Status
    • Accessibility wiki has been purged of out-of-date articles.
    • Documents are shaping up. Still need some work.

    Action:
    • Keep on working on the docs.

  4. Marketing Plan
    • Link to updated plan (TBD)
    • Status of CIO Blog article for July (Sandi, Laura, Gary)

    Action:
    • For the July marketing the DoIT service page will serve as the landing page, because those communications will be specifically about the tool.
    • For later more general communications, the DoIT accessibility page will be the landing page. It needs some work to serve as such.
